Vic: Woman dies after fall from window

MELBOURNE, Feb 19 AAP - A woman plunged to her death early today from the third floor
window of a hotel in Melbourne's CBD.

Police raced to the hotel on the corner of Collins and Queen streets shortly after
midnight (AEDT) following reports that a woman had fallen from a window.

The woman, from Chirnside and believed to be aged in her 40s, died at the scene, said
police who have yet to name her.

Officers are still interviewing a number of witnesses.
