'300' movie overflows with DVD extras: If that isn't enough, History Channel offers its `Last Stand' version.

Jul. 29--Blockbuster success 300 comes to DVD on Tuesday, and you can tell that's a big deal by the DVD piggybacking.

The same day that movie hits stores, the History Channel will be peddling its DVD of Last Stand of the 300: The Legendary Battle at Thermopylae ($24.95), with the "300" in red lettering meant to remind people of the action movie. Already in stores is Nomad: The Warrior (Genius, $19.95), whose DVD box uses lettering and a color scheme evoking 300, even though the movie has nothing to do with Thermopylae.

Nomad is about historic events in Kazakhstan. Really. As far as I can tell, it's not an extended Borat joke. …
