I am responding to your Nov. 8 editorial ``Tomorrow's high school.''

It is encouraging to see that there are some in this community who see the desperate need for innovation that is the most lacking ingredient in the drive behind creating a dynamic and prosperous Capital Region economy. This ``Tech Valley High School'' concept is exciting and exactly what our community needs at this critical time.

My hope is that we will indeed see ``state lawmakers rise to the challenge'' in Albany ``to turn this concept into a reality.''
